| Message/Self-Introduction | My first research topic was the role played by grammarians in the formation of German written language, with a focus on the nature of language as an artifact. Since then, I have studied the topic of the interfering relationship between the orality and literacy of the German language after the 18th century. I have also lately been working on the use of language in Nazism. |
